The 3 Basics- Arm Balances, Inversions & Backbends

Arm balances, inversions and backbends, everybody loves them but not all people can do them safely and effectively. In this workshop we will deconstruct the movement mechanics of the shoulders, wrists and hips for success set up into these postures. Learn new techniques for balancing and how to safely break down these postures in a vinyasa class setting to help students build the appropriate movement patterns for flight!

The Art of Anatomical Cueing

Excellent cueing skills are the hallmark of a great teacher. Offering safe, confident cues to students can increase your class size and help you build your client base for teaching privates. This workshop will break down the appropriate cues to safely adjust bodies correctly in class. Learn how to take yourself deeper into common standing poses, arm balances, inversions and backbends without creating repetitive strain or injury. Learn how to physically assist your students while deepening your own knowledge of anatomy and alignment. You will leave this workshop feeling knowledgeable, skilled and empowered.

Fearless Flight

Each of us has tremendous power to be agents of change in our lives and the world. In this vinyasa style session, we will work a progressive sequence that leads up to the body mechanics needed to take flight safely. Learn the key fundamentals needed to build strength and flexibility in the appropriate areas of the body for balancing. Inversions shouldn't be feared because they are a wonderful catalyst for tapping into your source of power.
